What I Do
Since 2008, I have been hired to design websites and print work for almost a dozen clients. My academic background coupled with real-world experience has taught me to look at problems analytically, and to apply these skills to print and online media.
I am the Creative Director of The Best of Aging magazine, a niche publication out of southeast Michigan, and just finished a year and a half stint as the Design Director of Ing Magazine, Michigan State's student-run publication. This past summer I interned in New York City at Time Inc. with All You magazine.
Currently I work for GolinHarris, named the Best Large Agency to Work For by the Holmes Report, and will still accept freelance requests on a
case-by-case basis.

“Gina Holder was one of the most multi-talented journalists I ever worked with on the staff of the national award winning Update newspaper. She wrote a popular column, designed her way to national 1st and 2nd place awards and was an excellent editor. Her work ethic is enviable and her ability to get along with co-workers is fantastic.”
